Taking place instead of the usual car show, the club attracted attention from all over, with entries received from as far away as Goulburn and Canberra.
Club treasurer Phil Nokes said they were pleased the weekend went ahead.
"Nobody has done a car show yet this year I believe, and Denis our president, came up with the idea of the art show, so we could at least display some of the cars," he said.
"We would've loved more but we're happy with it. It hasn't turned out too bad actually."
Mayor Reg Kidd was there to open the display and even made a suggestion to club president Denis Gregory.
"This is the first show like this that has been run under a permit from Motorsport Australia," Mr Gregory said.
"The mayor suggested we could hold this at other times in the year, so it's something to look at doing."
Bill Causbrook enjoyed the display after driving up from Canberra on the Friday to see it.
"I know we live in the past some times," he said.
"But these sought of things don't happen unless we dig out the past."
