DAVE NEIL IS ALL CLASS
Although CYMS' summer has left a little to be desired, the green and golds have one giant silver lining from 2020-21 - Dave Neil.

No, not the colour of his hair, although there is more salt and pepper across that noggin than the 80s and 90s hip-hop charts.
We're talking about his efforts with the willow throughout the summer. The 30-something-year-old recently scored an undefeated 100 in his side's victory over Kinross, a knock that teammate Tom Belmonte described as 'one of the best he's seen.'
After scoring 70 and 77 in rounds one and two respectively, big Dave has cooled off but when you're talking about his overall ability with a bat in his hand, the proof is in the pudding.
SLOW DOWN, REDBACKS
While Mark Day had a few choice words for the sports staff at the Central Western Daily, the fact remains... Bathurst City won't play semi finals cricket in 2020-21.
They're in great stead after day one of their round 12 clash against Centrals, sitting at 3/55 while only needing 100 to surpass the red and blacks first innings total, but let's be realistic.
Qualifying for the post-season would not only mean putting together an outright win on day two of this round, it would also mean knocking off a scalding hot Rugby Union in round 13.
And, to make the task even taller, Bathurst City has to bank on Cavaliers (who are 11 points clear of them) to accrue next to no points between now and the end of the campaign.
The confidence is admirable, but it's unfounded.
See you next summer.
JOSH TOOLE HAS GONE MISSING
You can't lump all of City Colts' underwhelming season on the shoulders of key bat Josh Toole, but you can certainly lump some of it on him.
The all-rounder has scored precisely zero runs in four of his last five efforts at the crease... not a desirable form guide from arguably your best hitter.
But, it doesn't stop there for City Colts.
Dave Sellers has hit a wall as well, the premiership-winning Oberon Tiger citing a stint at in the Bathurst Nines with Panthers on Saturday as the reason Ed Morrish sent him packing just moments into their match with Orange City.
CUP COULD RETURN TO BATHURST SIDE
Since the Bathurst Orange Inter District Cricket's return two summers ago, Orange City has sat in the iron throne.
Ed Morrish's men have claimed back-to-back competitions, the most recent triumph over Cavaliers coming in somewhat controversial circumstances.
But, this year, with the rise of Rugby Union and the dominance of St Pat's Old Boys, you'd have to consider one of those two sides is more likely to win the premiership than the aforementioned Orange duo.
While there's no denying the quality the Warriors and Cavaliers possess, it doesn't feel like they've accrued any sort of real momentum in the past last month.
Cavaliers worked their way out of a slump with a narrow win to Bathurst City but already in round 12, look to be on the back foot against Centennials Bulls.
Orange City on the other hand, after starting the season like a house on fire, have been somewhat extinguished, winning just two of their last four first grade tilts (those victories coming against Kinross and Centrals).
As for Rugby Union and St Pat's Old Boys... well, they're absolutely airborne.
CREDIT TO CENTENNIALS
It's been a tricky season for the poor, old Bulls, and while it would be easy to roll over for the last fortnight, that's not what they've done.
The underdogs are in pole position to upset Cavaliers on day two and throw a bit of a spanner into the semi-final frame.
