A small fire near Manildra was quickly contained on Tuesday morning, with NSW Rural Fire Services officers responding to reports of a potential grass fire at a property on Packham Drive at about 10.30am.

Two crews responded to the reports and discovered stubble alight on the property, working to contain the burn as quickly as possible.
Two NSWRFS crews did so in around 45 minutes, reporting the fire contained at 11.15am, with no threats to lives or property to speak of.
The fire appeared to be started by machinery on the property and burned an estimated 10 hectares of stubble leftover from crop harvests.
