Gosling Green will be the host venue for the third meeting on Sunday and the home team looks to be an odds-on shot to not only secure the most points at the event, but to all-but lock up an eighth crown in ten years.

The Piranhas ran riot at the Bathurst inter-club meeting at the end of January and now, are looking to put the nail in the coffin.

"Everyone at the club wants to win," vice president Frank Ostini said.

"We had plenty at the Bathurst event and it's only going to be bigger on Sunday because it's on our own ground.

"We're going to have a good continuance with the girls... they ran one, two and three at Bathurst.

"Even though Jack Bilton ran a bad race there, we still had Tom Tudor and Rory Thornhill finish at the front."

The status of Tudor and Thornhill is up in the air as the duo could miss out on the event due to university commitments.

Even though that would hurt the club's chances of accruing points, it still has a wealth of talent in the women's division, a group of athletes Ostini spoke highly of.

Sophie Martin blitzed the competition at the Bathurst event and she's one of many leading ladies to look out for.

"The girls from Orange have always been the dominant force," he said.

"We've dominated the female category for about 10 years."

Another exciting element behind Sunday's event is the still somewhat new track at Gosling Creek as Ostini was happy to touch on the safe racing conditions for the younger athletes, as well as the involvement for parents watching on.

"It's better for the kids at Gosling Creek because they're not on the road," he said.

"There's no cars inside the grounds so it's safe for everyone and it's good for the parents as well.

"They get to see their kids more often so from a spectator's point of view, it's better."
