Kinross was dismissed for just 80 runs at Morse Park 1, however, the damage could've been much worse if it wasn't for Tom Kiss' handy knock of 47 runs.
Bulldogs bowler Hugh McIntyre was in inspired form with the ball, taking five wickets against the club he'd called his own for the past five seasons.
"I wouldn't say there's any secret," he said of his success against his old club.
"Just trying to bowl decent line and length and hope that they make the mistake.
"It's great to be back at the club (Rugby). I played with them through juniors and then obviously played for Kinross, so it's good to be back with a local team."
And while Kinross' total of 80 was a easy target, the Bulldogs showed some signs of complacency, dropping six wickets on the way to catching the students.
Imran Qureshi opened the batting for the Bulldogs alongside Sam Macpherson, with scores of 20 and seven respectively.
Skipper Ryan Peacock came in at three and would eventually finish with the third-highest Bulldogs score of 12, after he was bowled out by George Cumming.
Phil Tonkin - who came in at number five - top scored for the Bulldogs, hitting a high 22, making him and Qureshi the only batsmen for Bulldogs to hit the 20-run mark.
Bulldogs finished the day on 8-100, batting for a total of 26 overs.
Saturday's first innings win was Rugby Union's seventh of their season, however, they're still in a chance of getting their first outright win of the summer.
Combined with Orange City's defeated to a lowly outfit CYMS on Saturday, its likely Rugby Union will jump to second on the BOIDC ladder at the conclusion of round 11.
Cavaliers (7-242 dec) against Centrals (1-20)
Matt Corben was in devastating form in Bathurst Orange Inter District Cricket on Saturday, scoring a century to give Cavaliers a big lead against Centrals heading into day two at Wade Park.
Not a single Centrals bowler was unable to deal with Corben, with the Cavs talent hitting an unbeaten 123 off 195 balls, marking his fourth century in three seasons.
Wesley Lummis (37) and Bailey Ferguson (33) also scored handy knocks in Cavaliers' innings.
After 63 overs, Cavs declared on 7-242, giving Centrals a massive job of chasing down their opposition heading into day two.
Centrals had seven overs to bat late on Saturday afternoon, with Kurt Gander dismissed for just two runs, leaving the team on 1-20 heading into day two of the 11th round match.
Orange City (10-71) lost first innings to CYMS (7-114)
CYMS may have struggled to find wins throughout the Bathurst Orange Inter District Cricket season but the green and golds made light work of one of the best teams in the competition on day one of the 11th round on Saturday.
CYMS won the toss and sent city rivals Orange City into bat at Jack Brabham Park 2, with the Warriors suffering a shocking collapse, dismissed for just 71 runs off 29.1 overs.
Ed Morrish topped scored for Orange City with just 16 runs, one of only two Warriors to score double digit figures, the other being Ben Schofield (10 runs).
CYMS' skipper Hugh Le Lievre ripped through the Warriors' batting order, snagging five wickets, while Angus Wilson got two and Thom Wilson got one. Orange City opener David Boundy had to retire on eight runs.
CYMS caught Orange City's total four wickets down to snatch crucial first innings points, before finishing Saturday on 7-114.
Bathurst City (10-212) against City Colts (1-8)
Cohen Schubert hit a high of 79 at the Sportsground on Saturday, to put Bathurst City in a handy position heading into day two of the 11th round of Bathurst Orange Inter District Cricket against City Colts.
Schubert came in as the number seven batsman, hitting his highest score in first grade for Redbacks and his highest score since an undefeated 70 against St Pat's Old Boys Blue in Presidents Cup during the 2012-13 Bathurst District Cricket Association season. Colts' David Rogerson was the highlight with the ball, taking five wickets to limit Redbacks for 212 off 75.1, while Henry Shoemark took three.
Colts only batted for two overs, but Redbacks veteran Ben Orme was able to snag a wicket, dismissing Shoemark for just two runs to leave Colts at 1-8 at the end of the first day, trailing by 204 runs.
Dave Sellers (six) and Garth Mangan (zero) will return to the crease for City Colts in their chase when play resumes next Saturday.
St Pat's Old Boys (7-286) against Centennials Bulls
"Relief."
That's how St Pat's Old Boys batsman Andrew Brown described scoring his first ever senior century on Saturday against Centennials Bulls with a knock of 102, his last ton coming as a junior well over a decade ago.
Brown wasn't the only Saints batsman in inspired form, with Connor Slattery also scoring his third century in two seasons, giving Saints a commanding 286-run lead at the end of the first day of the Bathurst Orange Inter District Cricket 11th round match.
Brown said it was great to work alongside Slattery at George Park 1, to help him score a century too.
Brown opened the batting alongside Bailey Brien, with the latter dismissed for just eight runs and then number three batsman Ben Cant was out for two, leaving Saints on 2-16 when Slattery came in.
Brown and Slattery would combine for well over 200 runs, to help build Saints' massive lead, as they spent the entire day batting.
Slattery - who finished the day on 121 - was his highest score of the summer, topping his 117 against City Colts back in December.
And while Brown and Slattery easily stood out with the bat, the rest of the Saints batting ordered struggled to score, with number seven Jack Goodsell the only other batsman to score double digits with 19. Griffith was the pick of the bowlers, taking three wickets, while Zane Newham took two.
