Parking at Orange Health Service campus is at times at a premium, particularly in the car park at the front of the hospital, where patients enter the Emergency Department.

However there are no plans to increase the number of available spots by expanding the car park's footprint or building a multi-level parking station.
The health service campus currently has about 870 car parking spaces for patients, families and visitors, a spokesperson for Western NSW Local Health District said in a statement.
In 2016, after years of complaints from residents, the state government announced plans to spend about $1.3 million to extend the Orange Health Service car park by about 160 spots.
The health minister at the time, Jillian Skinner, said that the first 77 spots would be available in 2017, with the next 83 to follow.
However the new parking spots - about 90 at the rear of the hospital and 60 in an extension to the front car park - weren't opened until late 2018.
The government put the delays down to "heritage issues and being next to a golf course".
At the time, mayor Reg Kidd said increased demand would mean there would need to be more parking available by 2020.
However NSW Health has made no commitment to adding extra spaces.
"We are always monitoring the demand and need for car parking on the Orange Health Service campus," said the spokesperson.
They did not respond to questions about whether NSW Health would look at building a multi-storey car park at the front of the hospital to meet future demand, or whether data was kept on how busy the car park was.
