Dan Christian and Hilton Cartwright might not be names you would usually associate with Centrals cricket, but they have made one of the biggest contributions to the club this year.

The club earned themselves $4,500 on Tuesday night after they were chosen as the Bash for Cash recipients for the match between the Sydney Sixers and Melbourne Stars, where every six hit would get them $500.
"We organised to grab some dinner down at the Royal and watch the game," first grade skipper Daryl Kennewell said.
"There were about 35 of us down there and the anticipation was certainly there.
"We were excited to see what happened and blokes were talking about likely scenarios and everyone was positive and happy."
"Every six hit we'd have a bit of a cheers and a yahoo."
It was the Sixers who came out on top in the match, but it was the big hitting of the Stars which brought smiles to the faces of Centrals, with Hilton Cartwright alone accounting for $1,500.
"Being cricketers ourselves, we knew towards the end of the innings that there would be more fireworks," Kennewell added.
