On Saturday, February 6, families, film lovers and dogs alike are invited to the Botanic Gardens to take a trip back to Porpoise Spit in your best wedding dress, banana bra or ABBA costume.
Whether it's your first time or fifty-thousandth seeing Muriel's Wedding, the outdoor screening will undoubtedly make for quite the experience.
The all-ages event which is BYO picnic and picnic blanket will feature food stalls, a red carpet and best dressed competition - with a bonus category just for four-legged film buffs who want to get into the spirit.
The screening next Saturday will be Orange Open Air's (OOA) second ever event, and their first for 2021.
The committee's sold-out Halloween movie night proved a screamer with punters, with no effort spared when it came to the costume competition.
Organisers are hoping for similar success with their first screening for the year (not to mention, audience enthusiasm for fancy dress), and to sweeten deal offering prizes for best dressed plus discount rates for groups.
"We just wanted to do a summer of love after 2020 and [this] is a great opportunity.... to have a social gathering again and a bit of fun," the OOA committee said.

Alex Burke added that the beauty of Muriel's Wedding was the amount of incredible costumes and characters there were to draw inspiration from; including the early Hibiscus Island scene, the weddings and the ABBA dances and songs.
The event kicks off at 7pm on Saturday, February 6. Tickets can be purchased at www.orangeopenair.com.
