Cook Park is the centre of Australia Day activities. Ms Lana Masterton is Orange's Australia Day ambassador.
A community breakfast ($8) is on from 8am-9.30am with eggs, sausages, bacon, damper roll, juice, tea and coffee.
At 8am the Bungee Run, inflatable slides, jumping castle, market and food stalls will open, followed by a performance from the Canobolas Highland Pipe Band and the Orange Male Voice Choir.
The official ceremony (9am) will lead into the 10am citizenship ceremony.
At 10.30am NSW Local Citizens of the Year will be announced, followed by the Colour City Dance Works, Best Dressed competition, Australia Day raffle and the City of Orange Brass Band.
CABONNE
Cabonne's Australia Day ambassador Susie Elelman will participate in ceremonies at Borenore, Cudal, Manildra and Yeoval, where Citizens of the Year, Young Citizens of the Year and Community Groups of the Year will be announced.
Ms Elelman is in Borenore at 10am for a sausage sizzle and awards, before heading to Cudal for their award presentation and village gatherings.
She will attend a pool party, awards ceremony and the Sutton Relay before finishing in Yeoval .
Australia Day will also be celebrated in Canowindra, Cargo, Cumnock, Eugowra, Molong and Mullion Creek, with guest speakers, award presentations, competitions and barbecues.
