To combat this, from this week, residents will once again be able to bring in their old linen, towels and quilt covers to Sheridan to be recycled and made into new products.

Orange Sheridan store manager Jane Griffith said the initiative was well received by the community in 2019.

"While the program was paused over COVID, we had lots of customers asking when it was going to start back up. It feels great to be able to offer this service to the community and keeping this waste out of landfill," she said.

Residents can drop off old towels, linen, and quilt covers of any brand at Orange Sheridan outlet at Orange Homemaker Centre during business hours.
