Three NSW Ambulance crews were called out to assist the SES attend to the man who had bogged his truck near, or on, the Glow Worm Tunnel 4WD Track, which crews were expected to use in reaching the man's location.

At time of publication, they had administered pain relief for suspected hip injuries sustained after the main had slipped and fell as he exited his stuck vehicle.
While the extent of the man's injuries were yet to be determined, it was confirmed he had previously undergone hip replacement surgery so NSW Ambulance officers hoped there was no complications as a result.
