Departing president Paul Rudd is scrambling to organise personnel ahead of the campaign as a number of players and board members have left their status unconfirmed.

Bar Bars entered the old Centennial Coal Cup in 2011 under captain-coach Joel Begnell and are at risk of folding in the shadows of their tenth season.

The drama is curious given the way in which players flocked to both the men's and women's sides in 2020 as both outfits qualified for the postseason

Luckily for the club, it still has time to get itself together before the competition kicks off as Rudd circled February as the month in which the AGM will likely occur.

"I'd hope that some fresh faces would like to put their hands up to be on the committee," he said.

The status of 2020 player-coach Jake Kelly will go a long way to determining whether or not the men are able to field a side as he's been a tower of strength at the cub for the last few seasons.

Elsewhere in the Mid-west Cup, Orange United is going from strength to strength as the men in teal had huge numbers throughout their maiden season as they went within six points of a grand-final berth.

Kurt Beahan's will kick off their training regime on Monday night and are always on the lookout for new players.

United's presence in bush footy was somewhat of a unique one last season as they are built predominantly of Indigenous personnel, citing culture as an integral part of the club.

Jacob Condello is set to coach alongside Beahan.
