She took over Bradley's Florist 21 years ago and since then has made too many memories to count.
"Seeing weddings is great and this will sound a bit yucky, but getting thank yous from people I've done funerals for is really nice," she said.
"But also getting thanked out of the blue. Putting a smile on someone's face, that's what it's all about, because we are delivering something that will be dead in a week."
She bought the shop while still studying at Tafe and has hardly had a day off since, only taking two weeks holiday over Christmas every year.
"It's about 73 years the business has been going in town, and it's sad to see it go," Mrs Wright added.
"But It's time to pull up stumps, see ya later and go out on a good note."
Without a doubt, it will be the people she will miss the most.
"A lot of our customers are friends as well and I'll miss that big time," she said.
"Sometimes people need to vent and it's a bit like hairdressers where they can just talk and you can give them a cuddle, sometimes they just need that pat on the back."
The Peisley Street store will open for the final time on February 27.
