Wyangala Dam wall upgrade key part of greater water security for Central West, mayor says

Cowra mayor Bill West has told an inquiry the $650 million Wyangala Dam wall upgrade has the potential to secure water for townships along the Lachlan Valley and major cities like Orange, adding "one big dam is far better ... than having half a dozen small dams".
