The phrase: "There was movement at" (which is, of course, the opening line to The Man From Snowy River) must be included in every competitors' original poem.
Entry is $5 per person and competitors can register through Trybooking.com, at Molong Post Office or at Cumnock General Store.
There will be three different categories to the competition and all will offer prize money: Under 18 ($100), Open ($150) and People's Choice ($150).
The Molong Poetry Brawl will be on Saturday, February 13, at the Freemason's Hotel, Molong.
There is no charge for audience members but bookings are still required through Trybooking.com due to COVID-19 regulations.
The Banjo Paterson Australian Poetry Festival runs from Saturday, February 13, until Sunday, February 21.
