A Molong mum has praised a group of young kids who went out of their way to make her daughter feel included. Amy Vella's seven-year-old daughter Charlotte has level 2 autism, a language disorder and ADHD, which can make outings to the pool - like their one on Tuesday - a little tricky. "Charlotte is a bit overenthusiastic when she tries to go swimming," Amy said. On top of that, they invited Charlotte to play with them, something Amy said was a delight to see. "You know, being a parent myself I feel like I'm constantly telling my kids to be nice whereas these kids, even though they were so young and there was no adult telling them what to do, they were just doing it on their own. READ MORE: Orange family has lucky escape after finding grenade in Bathurst "We're originally from western Sydney, and I know that we wouldn't get that same kindness in Sydney, so it's one of those things that re-confirmed the fact that we've done the right thing by moving here. "I think we'll be here forever."

Amy Vella's seven-year-old daughter Charlotte has level 2 autism, a language disorder and ADHD, which can make outings to the pool - like their one on Tuesday - a little tricky.
"I think the main thing that stood out was that they were quite young," she said.
"You know, being a parent myself I feel like I'm constantly telling my kids to be nice whereas these kids, even though they were so young and there was no adult telling them what to do, they were just doing it on their own.
"We're originally from western Sydney, and I know that we wouldn't get that same kindness in Sydney, so it's one of those things that re-confirmed the fact that we've done the right thing by moving here.
"I think we'll be here forever."
