Kally Anne Collis, 21, of Barwon Street, Brewarrina, was disqualified from September 2016 to August 2020, when she was stopped by police while driving a car with an unregistered vehicle permit at 5.05pm on December 23, 2019.
Solicitor Nico Rump said Collis was homeless and was living out of her car when she was caught in Orange, but she had since moved in with family and no longer had access to the car.
Magistrate David Day convicted Collis, disqualified her driver's licence for a further six months and placed her on a six-month community correction order requiring rehabilitation.
"She is driving around having never demonstrated she has the knowledge or skills to drive a motor vehicle," Mr Day said.
