A man who dropped to his knees and resisted police when he was being arrested on an outstanding warrant has been fined in Orange Local Court.

Jeremy McKellar, 23, of Lawson Crescent, was at home at 11.30am on September 18, when two police officers arrived to arrest him on the outstanding warrant.
However, when he was told he was under arrest McKellar said he wanted to put on a t-shirt and walked towards a rear door in the house.
Police grabbed hold of his arms and he started to twist is arms in an attempt to free himself and he dropped to his knees taking the police officers with him.
McKellar slipped away from the police officers who sprayed him with their OC spray but it appeared to have no effect.
McKellar was not represented and not present in court.
Mgistrate David Day fined him $550 for resisting the police officers.
