COVID testing facilities in Orange have been expanded after a Sydney man testing positive to coronavirus was found to have visited the Birdie restaurant in Summer Street on Sunday.

The line of cars at the Orange Showground drive-through testing facility began to grow to about 40 cars once the news of the positive case was released on Tuesday.
Testing at the showground will now continue all afternoon to cope with demand.
The Orange Hospital Fever Clinic was also opened from noon.
Both will be also be operating on Wednesday morning.
A Western NSW Local Health District spokeswoman said there were currently no confirmed cases in Orange.
"A person who has subsequently tested positive for COVID-19 travelled from Broken Hill through Nyngan on Saturday 2 and 3 while infectious," she said.
"The Far West NSW and Western NSW Local Health District is organising additional testing capacity in Broken Hill, Orange and Nyngan.
"Additional testing capacity will be made available at the Laverty Drive-through service at the Orange Showground from this afternoon [Tuesday] from 12.30pm and at the Orange Hospitals Fever Clinic from midday today."
