Getting through the course is no small feat, with participants having to clamber over and through pylons, slide through a hole, use a rope to swing across water and, finally, manoeuvre up and over a slide.
All while being sprayed by a hose held by a lifeguard, just for added slipperiness.
It is entertaining not only for those trying to get through the course, but also for spectators, who delight in watching all the aquatic bumbling and fumbling.
To take on the obstacle course a swimming test must be taken first and then a wristband purchased for $4.40.
Due to intensive swimming lessons over coming weeks the inflatable obstacle course will operate from 2-5pm on weekdays.
Visitor numbers at Orange Aquatic Centre are strictly limited due to COVID restrictions.
People may be asked to queue for a short time if the centre has reached capacity.
