ORANGE Police are reminding people to celebrate responsibly over the holiday season following two incidents involving alcohol.

At approximately 11.30pm on Wednesday, December 23, a 21-year-old male was issued an infringement notice for failing to leave a licensed premises.
The accused was allegedly intoxicated and was asked to move on from a Summer Street premises, but failed to do so.
Police have also charged a 21-year-old female with drink driving.
Inspector Peter Atkins said that Orange Police would be conducting an operation over the Christmas and New Year period.
"We will be targeting drinking driving and other traffic offences, along with targeting alcohol related incidents and anti-social behaviour, especially in and around licensed premises and the CBD," he said.
"We also want to remind people to comply with COVID restrictions and and celebrate responsibly over the holidays."
