Tom Cole brought six-months with of bottles and cans in seven wheelie bins to the facility.
"I think they could do with another one, but another one where you can put everything in together," he said.
Mr Cole went to the other facility in Edward Street first, but said the bins for cartons, plastic and cans were full, and only glass was accepted.
"There were cars lined up at the other one," he said.
Mr Cole said a shopping centre car park in the CBD would be suitable for a third facility.
"I guess that's where most people congregate," he said.
Noel Warby also brought two large bags of bottles and cans to the return and earn at North Orange on Tuesday and agreed that a third facility would be a good idea.
"It's pretty popular this stuff," he said.
Mr Warby suggested a new site could be in the Woolworths car park, out of the way near the Senior Citizens Centre in the CBD.
