Chief inspector Peter Atkins from Orange Police said the man had been wanted on a number of outstanding warrants.
At approximately 2am on Wednesday the man was seen leaving a house in Algona Crescent northeast of the CBD.

Chief inspector Atkins said the man had three outstanding warrants and was arrested by police.
The warrants relate to allegations of stalking, intimidation, malicious damage and contravening an apprehended violence order.
The man remained in custody ahead of a scheduled appearance in Orange Local Court.
