And while Molong's Libby Peschka might have felt like the treatment she received from siblings Bailey and Cody growing up was a pain in the neck, it's certainly helped her warm to the physical nature of rugby league.

The Woodridge unders 16s backrower has been a star throughout this year's Western Women's Rugby League campaign and on Sunday at Waratah Sports Field, she'll have the chance to shoot for a third straight premiership in the competition.

Castlereagh went undefeated throughout the winter and was the only side to defeat Woodbridge during the regular season, a 26-22 result back in round three.

So, what does Peschka want to do to give her and her team the best shot at winning? Well, that's easy.

"I want to run hard," Peschka said.

That objective should be no issue for the 16-year-old as she's been taking hit-ups since the under 12s where she made her debut in the boys competition.

But, for the last three seasons she's mixed it up with the girls in the WWRL and doesn't plan on letting her promising rugby league career stop in the Central West.

"I want to become an NRL player," she said.

"I want to stay at school as well so I have a variety of options but that's my goal."

Not only did her two brothers influence her decision to take up rugby league, but so did the accomplishments of her grandfather and mother as each of them were heavily involved in both brands of footy.

"My Pop who passed away played union for a lot of years and my mum was a coach at Cabonne Roos," she said.

Peschka knows Sunday's tilt will be a tricky one as Castlereagh currently leads the season series. However, there's a few things the girls have circled ahead of the big dance at Orange.

"We want to talk more in the defensive line and make sure we're getting two in every tackle," she said.

She described herself as a second rower/lock but that hasn't stopped Peschka from visiting the opposition's in-goal a stack of times this season as she's scored well over 10 tries in 2020.

The all-important clash against Castlereagh will commence at Waratah Sports Field on Sunday at 11.30am. It will be the second of four Western Women's Rugby League grand finals.
