Orange's fuel prices are expected to remain stable the weeks leading into Christmas, but we're still paying more at the bowser than other regional centres in the Central West.

Orange's average price for unleaded fuel is at 117.9 cents-per-litre the week ending November 16, according to the NRMA's weekly fuel report.
That price has remained consistent for about the last month, with Orange's cheapest fuel at 115.9 at the 7-Eleven on Molong Road, while our most expensive is at the Caltex on Elsham Avenue at 119.9.
The number of petrol stations, and an increased amount of independents, means drivers in Bathurst and Lithgow are paying less though.
Bathurst is historically the lowest fuel in the region, with an average price of 112.9 at the moment, while Lithgow just pips that value with 112.6 this week.
Mudgee, on the other hand, is always the highest, with less competition forcing drivers to pay on average 121.9 cents-per-litre this week.
Dubbo's petrol price is less than Orange at 116.0 at the moment, while towns to the south at Parkes and Forbes are paying more at the bowser, coughing up 127.6 and 124.3 cents-per-litre respectively.
Prices have remained at that level for the last few weeks, with the state average sitting at 125.1 cents-per-litre.
An NRMA spokesperson said, like always, shopping around was the key to getting the best price at the bowser, but those prices shouldn't change too much as we head towards the festive season.
"We're hoping prices will remain stable, especially in next couple of weeks," she said.
The cheapest fuel in NSW at the moment is at 94.5 for unleaded in Sydney, while the most expensive is up near the 150.0 mark, with consumers at Strathfield and Greenacre paying 146.9 at the bowser.
In the lead up to Christmas, according to the NRMA there are some things you can do to help your vehicle's fuel consumption and stretch your holiday dollars further when planning a road trip or driving holiday.
Ways to reduce consumption include ensure tyres are in good condition. If a car is loaded with passengers and even a trailer, tyre pressure must be checked.
The correct tyre pressures will reduce rolling resistance and fuel consumption by up to two per cent, and there's another upside - the correct pressures will maximise tyre life.
Older cars (pre-1986) can go out of tune between services, increasing fuel consumption but even on newer vehicles with electronic engine management, replacing a dirty air filter can decrease fuel consumption.
