Business partners Gary Holway and Dan Casson are both working as accountants at the business in McNamara Street.
"We used to work in another firm here in town, we are local," Mr Casson said.
"We've been in accounting here in Orange for a combined 25 years."
Mr Casson said business has been flat out since they started work at Ace Accounting in October.
"We've hit the ground running," he said.
"Everyone has been great support.
"Everything is going really well."
Mr Casson said so far their clients have ranged from individuals wanting help with individual tax returns through to small to medium businesses in a range of industries including agriculture and road transport and everything in between.
"If you are with an accountant you have 12 months to get your tax done, if you do it yourself you [had] until October 31," Mr Casson said.
Bissy's open ahead of auction, and beyond
Bissy's Cafe in Warrendine Street is going up for auction on Saturday after nine years of operation.
However, the cafe co-owner Paul Rossiter, who runs the cafe with Fiona Rossiter, said if the cafe does sell on Saturday, it will remain open throughout the six-week settlement period until December 18.
If it does not sell immediately Mr Rossiter said they will continue to operate the cafe indefinitely.
"We cannot afford to close because it's the only form of income that we both have at the moment," Mr Rossiter said.
"Fiona and I, we would both like it to be sold and run and retained as a cafe."
However, he said they are retaining the name Bissy's because it is a personal and sentimental name.
"The name is actually our daughter's nickname," Mr Rossiter said.
Interstate wine award
Tamburlaine Organic Wines has added another accolade to the list, a gold medal for its Marlowe - Act One 2018 at the Royal Adelaide Wine Show in October. There were 396 exhibitors entering 2834 wines, which was the highest number of entries since 2012.
The winning wine, a shiraz cabernet blend secured a 95-point score from the judging panel, narrowly missing out on the title of Best Traditional Australian Red Blend and the Dr Ray Beckwith OAM Memorial Trophy by one point.
Chief winemaker Mark Davidson said the win recognises that Orange wine grown in contemporary organic fashion can compete with the best Australia has to offer.
