Curtale, from Cowra, is in the Central West side preparing to tackle Orana in the Regional Bash, which is a knockout tournament this summer.
The big-hitting all-rounder is hoping to play a role in helping the Wranglers progress through to the Sydney Cricket Ground for a third-straight year - and then ultimately go on and win the title.
"Obviously you play to win, not just make it there," Curtale said ahead of Sunday's opener.
"So hopefully I can help the boys go one better this year."
He said it was always pleasing to be picked for representative sides like the Wranglers and he would love to play at the SCG again.
"Obviously any time you have a chance to get to the SCG you're pretty excited," he said.
"I have played there twice before but it would be massive at my age now and part of the career I'm at to play there again.
I know that it only takes 25 or 30 balls of being out there and I can get a score to help.

"I might not ever get that opportunity again."
Curtale said he was expecting to meet an Orana side full of the Macquarie Cricket Council's best.
"They've got some good players and they've always had good players so it will be a great test," he said.
"I've only had two competition games this year, but the way I play there's always going to be a chance to get out, so I don't worry about whether I'm in form or not.
"I know that it only takes 25 or 30 balls of being out there and I can get a score to help, especially in T20.
"It's always good to be in form but as long as the team gets the job done I don't worry about my performance."
The other Regional Bash knock-out games being played this weekend are Illawarra against South Coast, Central Coast against Lake Mac and Northern Inland against Hunter.
