Orange Church of Christ will host Doug Macfarlane on Sunday at 10.30am.
Mr Macfarlane stepped into full-time evangelistic ministry in 1989 and he has performed in almost 2000 churches across Australia.
Since that time is reputation as a speaker has increased to make him one of the country's foremost evangelists and communicators.
"One of my hopes in visiting the Orange region is to present a simple message of hope. Hope to be found in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ," Mr Macfarlane said.
"Music has always been a powerful tool to communicate and connect with people.
"This will be an event for all ages, and we're hoping to see as many locals attend of all backgrounds and ages"
Orange Church of Christ Pastor Jon Baker said there will be a handful of tickets available to hear Mr Macfarlane live at the church, but the event will also be broadcast live on the church's Facebook page and on its website at 6.30pm.
"It's sad, of course that we cannot have a large gathering for Doug, but we pray that this event will be a blessing to many, especially those concerned by the situation in the world at the moment," Pastor Baker said.
For more information, call the church office on 6362 0878, visit the Facebook page @burrendongway, or tune in at 6.30pm on Sunday to coco.online.church.
