UpStage NSW hosting musical theatre workshops in Orange for kids, teens
Orange Regional Conservatorium in collaboration with UpStage NSW will be bringing musical theatre workshops to the Central West.
Built with the aim of bringing music, dance and drama education to Orange, UpStage is designed as a fun and engaging day to inspire young performers.
Sessions will include performance skills, voice, drama, dance and the "business of theatre".
Younger performers (aged 8-14) will develop their confidence in age-appropriate, fun, collaborative performance classes while older performers (15-18) will participate in tailored, small-group sessions focused on building a career as a performing artist.
All participants will get to create a group performance to showcase what they've learnt throughout the day.
The UpStage Musical Theatre Workshops will run 9am - 5pm on November 22 at the Orange Regional Conservatorium.
