Matt Brooster and Ross Hipwell recently opened Canobolas Chocolate in Lords Place where they feature artisan chocolates and treats from across Australia.
"We had the chocolate shop in Canowindra for five years and we decided to look to expand to a bigger market and we always loved Orange" Mr Brooster said.
"We love the old [Canobolas] building here and we love the [Hotel] Canobolas, and we really like Lords Place because it's a really foody area.
"We showcase small scale artisan chocolate makers from right across Australia."
Mr Hipwell said the chocolates include sugar free, gluten free and nut free options.
Putting on a spread
Catering an event, party, small get together or simply enjoying a quiet night in will be a simple affair following the recent launch of The Spread Grazing and Platters in Orange.
Ally Rattery said she is using as much local produce as she can for the cheese boards and antipasto platters.
"It's just sky rocketed since I started it up," Miss Rattery said.
"I wanted to create a spread using local producers, it also supports other local businesses who have also done it tough through COVID."
Miss Rattery said so far shes been asked to create platters for business events, gender reveals, picnics and to nibble on during a quiet night in.
