Stella Rose Reid, 39, of Lone Pine Avenue, was seen walking along South Terrace towards Nelson Place in Glenroi about 6.50pm on September 13 this year.
Police stopped and spoke to her and noticed she was sweating, she struggled to stand still, her speech was slow and she was unable to hold a conversation.
Police believed she was under the influence of a drug so they searched her and found in her pants a resealable bag containing methamphetamine that had a combined weight of 0.2 grams.
They also found 0.4 grams of cannabis wrapped in foil in her jumper.
Reid was not present in court where she was fined $220 for possession of the methamphetamine and $110 for possession of the cannabis.
