Dwayne James Reid, 30, of James Sheahan Drive, was given three concurrent three-month jail sentences and 12-month driving disqualifications for the driving offences in Orange and Bathurst.
However, magistrate David Day said the jail term would have little impact on Reid when he handed down the sentence in Orange Local Court on Monday.
Mr Day noted that Reid is currently serving a six-year jail sentence until 2023 for obtaining property by deception, aggravated break and enter, stealing property from a house and larceny.
According to police, Reid's driver's licence was disqualified until 2036 when he was caught on June 12, 2020.
The police saw him driving on Spring Street at 7.08pm and he sped onto Amaroo Crescent before driving at speed onto the front lawn of a property and stopping.
He then shuffled from the driver's seat to the passenger's seat but he was the only person in the car when police spoke to him and he could not nominate another driver.
Reid was caught driving again on June 19 when he was seen driving on Sydney Road, Kelso, and he said he knew his driver's licence was disqualified.
On August 4 he was stopped by police in Margaret Street, Orange, at 7pm.
"My partner wasn't feeling well so I took her up to hospital," he said when asked why he was driving.
According to police, Reid was first given a 12-month driving disqualification in October, 2010 but he continued to breach the driving bans.
Mr Day said he was made a habitual offender in 2015 as a result of six driving offences.
Mr Day also noted that Reid had previously received jail sentences for driving.
"His bad driving record does not allow him any leniency," he said.
The sentence Mr Day gave him on Monday will expire on January 18 next year.
Some of Reid's other matters that were also before the court on Monday were adjourned until December.
