A 32-year-old man arrested at a Gold Coast truck stop has become the eighth person charged in relation to the murder of an senior outlaw motorcycle gang member near Molong.

At about 6.20pm on Sunday night, Queensland Police arrested the man under the authority of a NSW arrest warrant and he faced Southport Magistrates Court on Monday, where detectives applied for and were granted the man's extradition to NSW.
The man was taken to Tweed Heads Police Station, where he was charged with murder, participate in criminal group contribute group activity and possess unauthorised firearm.
He was refused bail to appear at Tweed Heads Local Court on Tuesday.
He's the eighth person charged by Homicide Squad detectives investigating the shooting death of Bandidos OMCG Central West chapter president Shane De Britt at a property in Eurimbla back in January, 2020.
Including the weekend's arrest, so far Strike Force Kerrison detectives have arrested and charged eight people for their alleged roles in De Britt's murder. The seven men and a 34-year woman remain before the courts.
Investigations under Strike Force Kerrison are continuing.
