Jason Craig Lang, 43, of Fox Street, Walgett, appeared in court via audio visual link from custody for other matters.
According to police, Lang was on parole for other traffic matters until November 22, 2019, when he was caught driving in in Leura Road on May 11, 2019.
A police check revealed his driver's licence was disqualified from September 2011 to October 24, 2038.
Lang told police he knew the licence was disqualified but he was driving his friend who had been drinking.
Magistrate David Day disqualified Lang's driver's licence for a further 12 months and he convicted him without further penalty for driving while disqualified as well as failing to appear in Orange Local Court three times this year.
