Show dates for 2021 have been locked in for May 8-9, avoiding a potential clash with Anzac Day which had been slated in the previous few weeks.
The dates have been in flux for months due to uncertainty around the dates of the Royal Bathurst Show and the Dubbo Show.
The May 8-9 dates clash with Wellington's Show, which Orange Show Society president Peter Naylor said was sadly unavoidable.
"It does clash with them and one other show, but there wasn't much we can do," he said.
"We'll see what we can do about the livestock, their show is only one day so we may be able to organise it [to avoid a clash]."
The Royal Bathurst Show will be held from April 30 to May 2, which clashed with the Orange show's ideal dates.
However, the show's dates are now locked in, and Mr Naylor said planning could begin, with the Orange show to use whatever restrictions the Bathurst show uses.
However, he said there wouldn't be any less attractions at this point.
"The showmen have promised they'll all be back and we'll make it as good as we can," he said.
