Cudal & District's Men's Shed has received nearly $20,000 in funding towards expanding the existing building for additional working space, including the installation of an accessible toilet and hand-washing facility.

The state government funding comes via the Community Building Partnership Program.
"The Cudal Men's Shed plays an important role in our community, where men can enjoy the camaraderie of others while developing their skills," state MP Phil Donato said. "I was only too happy to support this funding application."
The timing coincides with Men's Shed Week in Australia. There are over 1,000 Men's Sheds in Australia, and some - known as Community Sheds - are not just for men.
The shed also recently received a federal government grant worth $7,000 to contribute towards an amenities block.
Actor Michael Caton from movie The Castle has voiced a new advertisement for Men's Sheds in which he encouraged blokes to get involved: "A man's home is his castle, but his Men's Shed, that's his kingdom ... and they're more than just a shed - you can make things, grow things, find a mate, be a mate..."
