The man was taken to hospital in a stable condition with minor injuries.
The Rural Fire Service, NSW Fire and Rescue and police also attended the scene at 8.41am.
NSW Fire and Rescue Orange acting station officer Shane Brinkworth said the man was dismantling a building when he fell.
Part of the roof collapsed onto him and Mr Brinkworth said firefighters cut away some of the structure's frame so paramedics could get access to the man.
He said it included cutting a roof rafters and stud work that had collapsed but landed in a way that did not cause the man serious injury.
"He was demolishing an old building on his property," Mr Brinkworth said.
