Forbes' star Jarrod Hall has been crowned the 2020 Central West Rugby Union player of the year.
The Platypi rake has been a shining light for the navy blues throughout a tough campaign, and has topped the voting - which is cast weekly by the Central West Rugby Union's referees association's officials - in a shortened Blowes Clothing Cup.
The Platypi narrowly missed out on a spot in the finals in 2020 following a final round loss to City at Pride Park.
But Hall, who is a regular in Blue Bulls representative sides and coached the Platypi in 2019 while also being an integral member of the Forbes side in its 2017 premiership win, rose to new heights in his on-field efforts this winter.
Emus' half Nikki D'Aquino took out the women's Central West Rugby Union player of the year award.
D'Aquino helped the greens to the semi-finals, where they went down to the defending premiers Bathurst in last week's semi-finals.
