The Mitchell Highway has been re-opened after it was earlier shut in both directions due to a fallen tree came across the road on Friday.

The highway was reopened just before 3pm.
State Emergency Service volunteers were called to the scene from Bathurst just before 2pm, with the tree blocking the highway about 600m west of the Beekeeper's Inn.
Another tree is impacting traffic on the Mid Western Highway at Fitzgeralds Mount, directly south of the one on the Mitchell Highway.
LiveTraffic is reporting both lanes are impacted on both the Mitchell and the Great Western Highways.
High winds have buffeted the region across Friday, with gusts of up to 44km/h recorded at Orange Airport, not far from the fallen tree.
No-one is believed to have been injured in the accident.
Motorists are being encouraged to avoid the Mitchell Highway and delay an travel to Bathurst.
