The Orange Emus junior rugby union president has enjoyed one of the club's most triumphant seasons in recent memory and on Saturday, will have the pleasure of watching both of her sons play in grand-finals at Mudgee's Glen Willow Sporting Complex.
Both Jack and Bailey Holland will feature in the greens' only junior finale appearances on the weekend as the former will lace up against Cowra/Canowindra in the under 14s match, while the latter is set to mix it up with the hometown boys from Mudgee in the 16s age group.
And while a mother would usually approach a spectacle like Saturday's with a fair few nerves, Phillips is feeling rather positive ahead of the double header.
"I feel quite confident which is good," she said.
"I am nervous for the boys because anything can happen on the day but I'm just so excited for them.
"The feeling down at Emus training on Thursday was fantastic."
Each class will present their own challenges for the boys as the under 14s will play a revamped Cowra/Canowindra side that's recruited several Stannies' forwards since going down to Emus 67-5 in the opening round.
So, while Jack Holland's side might have the mental edge, it's likely they will face an unprecedented set of tasks come game day.
The 16s will play Mudgee for the second week in-a-row after defeating them by single digits in the last game of the season.
"The 16s know who they are playing but the 14s are playing a different looking team," she said.
No matter who the boys are up against Phillips is ready to support from the sidelines and knows that Jack and Bailey will put each put their best foot forward.
"I tend to keep fairly quiet when I support them because I still don't know all the rules of the game," she laughed.
"I've been watching for nine years and I understand the by-laws but not everything yet.
"Both teams are very clever and very smart and adjust whatever's thrown at them."
Jack Holland will slot into the second row for the under 14s against Cowra/Canowindra, while Bailey Holland will look to play slightly wider in the flanker role.
"Bailey used to be kind of chunk but now he's tall and a bit leaner," she said.
