Jeremy Wallace has been involved in rugby union, specifically in Orange, long enough to know there's never an easy derby.

And despite Emus failing to drop a clash with old rivals Orange City in their last 14 starts, a run that stretches back to 2015, the minor premiers' co-coach knows the greens will have to be at their supreme best to win a fourth premiership in seven seasons come Saturday night.
It's also why Wallace isn't surprised to see City still kicking come the grand final.
"Every time we played them throughout the season they improved the most out of anyone," he said.

"We're not surprised at all. They have a clear vision and they've worked on it and got better and better. It's a credit to them."
He said the secret to Emus' longevity at the top, and their so far undefeated run in 2020, is simple.
"We're always fit, always up for it. We love rugby," he said.
We just concentrate on playing rugby, go out there to do that. We just try and be consistent.

"And that's gotten us this far. We just concentrate on playing rugby, go out there to do that. We just try and be consistent."
The experienced mentor says Emus' pack has been the cornerstone of their side this season.
Props Nas Havealeta and Archie Hall are near immovable at scrum-time while skipper Charlie Henley and lock Nick Hughes-Clapp are dominant at the set piece.
"It's a get foundation," he added.
Saturday's grand final is at Wade Park, the scene of Emus' semi-final victory over Bathurst Bulldogs just last week.
Wallace says the club would love nothing more than to play Saturday's game at Endeavour Oval but shifting it to Wade Park allows more people to get to the game and, as he says "sell it out".
He added having already played a game at the venue works in Emus favour
"I think so, in my history here we've not played badly at Wade Park," Wallace said.
Saturday's derby grand final kicks off at 4.30pm.
