Mrs Power created the plant-based family cook book to provide nutritious and balanced meals for children and families.
All the recipes are meat, dairy and egg free and there are also recipes that take various allergies into account with gluten free, soy free, and nut free recipes for school lunches.
Mrs Power said she has been vegan for four years and her children also follow a balanced plant-based diet.
"A few years ago when I had my twins [Eloise and James] I created and ebook called Healthy Little Tummies to create healthy meals for the whole family," Mrs Power said.
"Last year a publisher [Ryland, Peters & Small Ltd] contacted me to turn this ebook into a cookbook."
Mrs Power said her recipes and cooking skills have developed since she released the ebook but a few favourites made it into the finished product.
"Most of the recipes are the recipes that we've been eating as a family forever," Mrs Power said.
"I created them myself just to my kids' tastes.
"I retested the recipes on my kids and my husband, they all have a different recipe that's their favourite."
Mrs Power said her daughter Eloise liked the cauliflower and potato bake, son James likes the broccoli and pesto pasta and two-year-old Annabelle enjoys the pumpkin and lentil sausage rolls.
She said as a family they try to reduce sugar, oil and white carbohydrates which is reflected in the recipes which also take into account children's nutritional requirements such as for calcium, omega 3 and iron.
"Putting the cook book together was quite quick, the publisher gave me six weeks," Mrs Power said.
Once the recipes were finalised she sent them to London where the photographer and food stylist are based.
Healthy Little Tummies has been released in Australia, the USA and Europe and is available at Collins Booksellers in Orange.
