A man has been disqualified from driving for driving with methamphetamine in his system after he came to police attention for towing with an unregistered box-trailer.

Ross Edwin Oates, 41, of Margaret Street, was driving on the Northern Distributor Road when he came to the attention of police on April 19, 2020.
According to police, officer saw a Ford Falcon towing the unregistered trailer at 7.27pm so decided to stop the car.
During the road-side traffic stop Oates was tested for alcohol and illicit drugs and returned a positive result for methamphetamine.
Police arrested him and took him to Orange Police Station for further analysis.
He told police he possibly consumed the drug through a drink.
Oates represented himself in Orange Local Court and said he had been "pretty good" for the past two years.
"I had a party that Saturday night and I just wasn't aware of that drug in my system," Oates said.
Magistrate David Day said he had an unimpressive driving record and disqualified him from driving for six months and he was convicted with no further penalty.
