Rachael May Hall, 31, of Leura Road, was not present in court for sentencing.
According to police, Traffic and Highway Partrol officers were patrolling in Maxwell Avenue at 6.25pm on May 29 when they saw Hall driving northbound.
They stopped her for a random breath test near Tobruk Crescent. The test was negative for alcohol but a check revealed police had suspended her driver's licence on April 19 for mid-range drink-driving.
Police said when they questioned her why she was driving, Hall became aggressive, agitated and threw her keys out the driver's-side window.
Mr Day fined her $550 and disqualified her from driving for 12 months.
