The first three events will take place between September 15 to 17 and 26.
CSU faculty of science course director based at the Orange campus Dr Yann Guisard said he is looking forward to the students finding out more about the university.
"We have had at least 1000 state and interstate students sign up to the events so far," he said.
"Traditionally the Open Days are face-to-face but with COVID we wanted to keep the event going because life doesn't stop."
Dr Guisard also said he hopes the sessions will help the decision making for prospective students.
"Each event will mimic what the previous Open Days have been like but in an online space," he said.
"We are anticipating a mixture of year 12 and mature aged students to tune in and be virtually exposed to the coursework and life on campus.
"In particular, HSC students will miss out on a lot of events, celebrations and discovering a university which is why we wanted to keep it going."
The events will also include interactive information sessions about the courses, scholarship offerings, university life and video tours of the campuses, facilities and accommodation options.
