Winning a local derby is always pleasing from a coach's perspective but Hawks' mentor Steve Pearson won't be content until the twoblues lift their third consecutive Group 10 trophy.

His girls are fresh off a 28-12 over CYMS in the final round of the regular season as they put the finishing touches on an undefeated winter of action.
And while the result was confidence-boosting one ahead of the finals series, Pearson knows there's still work to be done.
"We're not finished yet," he said.
"We've still got some stuff to work on and we always want to get better."
"There were a couple of stages on the weekend where we started to get a bit one-out so we need to work on running in pairs."
Not only does Pearson want players pushing up in attack, he placed an emphasis and the side's line speed as well, saying the defence 'got a bit slow' on a few occasion during the win.
Even though there won't be any complacency creeping into Pearson's tactics, that doesn't mean he isn't thrilled with the result and he the girls their due credit as well.
"It was a really good win for us," he said.
'We've put together some really good combinations and the girls have split between the left and right side in attack and they're playing really well together.
"Everything worked for them on the weekend and they got off to a good start which is great because sometimes they come out a bit slow."
The fast start was attributable to an early kick from Bec Prestwidge as the towering bomb found open space near the try line before a Hawks' player scooped it up and scored.
From then on, the premiers put their opponents to the sword, scoring a 16-point victory despite some stiff resistance from their rivals.
"A lot of these girls and friends and it gets very competitive," he said.
"CYMS are a good side."
Sunday's battle was the second between the two outfits but if both CYMS and Hawks win their looming finals contests, they'll be set for a trilogy in the decider.
It's a first vs. fourth and second vs. third format on Sunday September 13, meaning the Hawks will host Bathurst will CYMS will host Dubbo.
When asked if he had a preference on a grand final opponent, Pearson presented the strengths of both sides.
" Dubbo can get up in your face a bit and things can get heated," he said.
"They've improved a lot since the start of the season. We know CYMS will always be good and their coach Adam Gibson will have them ready."
"Obviously we're going to focus on Panthers first. That's our job this weekend."
