The development application for the venues at Northcourt in the Civic precinct has just finished public exhibition.

There would be capacity for an extra 48 seats.
The planetarium auditorium would have 74 seats.
While the plan would involve extensive tree removal there would be replacement planting.
Landscaping would include an internal courtyard, a living green wall around the outside of the building and a green dome on the planetarium.
The plans show a public plaza and pedestrian connections to other buildings and spaces within the Civic Precinct.
It is intended parking for the facility would use the adjacent council car park.
Five car parking spaces for staff are provided along with a Kiss and Drop zone and disabled parking space on March Street which will be the front of the site.
Orange City Council has lodged the development application. But as the proposal is valued at more than $5 million the Western Regional Planning Panel will decide whether to approve it.
The DA said the onservatorium would offer music education and performance space and combine with community activities.
"The landscape design has incorporated dedicated areas to enable external performances. The educational use may blend with community activities such as the Orange Farmers Market," it said.
