The live show was meant to take place on September 15 but tickets are now valid for the new date of Tuesday, February 9, 2021.
A statement issued by the theatre stated that A-List Entertainment decided to postpone the show due to the ongoing capacity restrictions in the theatre.
A statement from A-List Entertainment stated that due to the coronavirus restrictions, the industry as a whole is doing it extremely tough.
"The support of people like you who go to live shows is so very much appreciated," the statement said.
"However if you can't make it, reach out to us for a full refund."
The show is just one of 107 shows to be cancelled or rescheduled at the theatre due to COVID-19 restrictions.
Orange Civic Theatre performing arts and venues manager Michelle Pearce said the theatre is currently open for the City of Orange Eisteddfod but expects to close again afterwards.
"Some touring shows will only be able to tour if they can get a full house and that won't be happening anytime soon," she said.
"As a theatre we've begun some conversations to explore whether local shows with local performers will be possible in the coming six to 12 months."
In the meantime she said it was great to welcome back the eisteddfod and give the children an opportunity to perform on stage.
