Cumnock Markets spokesperson Pat Gilmour said they aren't expecting a massive turnout at Crossroads Park and have a comprehensive COVID Safe plan.
"We're expecting less than 100 people to turn up because we are a tiny village and I think it will be relatively safe," she said.
"When people check into the market we will be taking their contact details and if people want to wear face masks that's their choice.
"There will be six stalls selling a variety of products including chutneys, miscellaneous buttons and needle work items with the Anglican Church stall to be the biggest on the day.
Mrs Gilmour said if people want to purchase any product they have to ask the stallholder before picking the items up.
"We won't be allowing patrons to touch the items on sale to minimise any risk and spread of the virus, they will have to ask the stallholder to show and purchase the product," she said.
The markets are held every third Saturday of the month.
