Not only is it an outfit that's had its fair share of dominance over the years, it's a group that's fresh off a crucial 18-14 loss to the CSU Mungals in a match that all-but decided the minor premiership with still three weeks left in the season.
And while Warriors' skipper Atahlia Sutherland is well aware of the task at-hand (having played for Cargo in previous seasons), the primary objective for her girls is to make sure they're always learning and finding ways to improve - no matter what the score is.
"For us it's just about building the club and getting to know one and other," Sutherland said.
"We need to learn about each other and how we all like to play and where we can improve.
"The game at CSU was a big learning game for a lot of our players and that's what we need in our first season."
The lessons learned throughout the 0-3 start to the season have been heavily related to the speed of the game as Sutherland admits her girls have struggled with the fitness side of things so far.
"Fatigue has definitely been one of our biggest downfalls," she said.
"Once fitness is improved, I feel like we can give a few teams a run for their money... we all know what we're doing with the footy."
And that downfall was on display in the Warriors' most recent loss to the Tigers as the girls were ahead for a large part of the game before eventually losing 20-12.
"There was a five-minute spot where they were a lot fitter," she said.
"We were in front for a fair bit of that game."
Saturday's fixture is most likely the girls' final chance to put themselves in contention for the finals series but as men's captain Kurt Beahan has said over and over, the debut season for the Warriors is less about results, and more about establishing the club as a fun-loving Indigenous movement.
Beahan's men's side faces a crucial assignment as well as a loss to the Heelers would mean a three-game losing skid after starting the campaign with a 44-4 win at Kandos.
They hold down fourth position on the ladder for now but if they fall at Cargo Oval, Orange Barbarians will be able to move into their spot with a win against the Kandos Waratahs, a clash they'd be short favourites to get the job done in.
Wade Park is the destination for both Barbarians' clashes.
